Who we are
NorVect is a brand of Amber Alpha AS, a Norwegian limited company (the "controller"). For any privacy question, contact us at contact@norvect.com.
What we collect
When you submit the Learn more form or email us, we collect the information you provide, typically your name, work email address, company, country, the segment you work in and the content of your message.
Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and reliability purposes. This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the information you requested.
- To follow up on a potential business relationship with you or your organisation.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and developing customer relationships (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), or the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). We do not sell your data or use it for automated decision-making.
Who processes it
- Zoho Corporation (Bigin CRM, Zoho Mail), which stores enquiries in its EU data centre. The embedded form may set cookies that are strictly necessary for spam protection and security.
- Our website hosting provider, for delivering this website.
These providers act as data processors under data processing agreements. Where any data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and delete it no later than 24 months after our last contact unless we are legally required to keep it longer.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email contact@norvect.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
